Mildura Disability Support is proud to offer a fresh new choice for day programs in the region, giving school leavers and adults living with disability more variety, flexibility and opportunity than ever before.
Based at our purpose-built Buronga Hub, our day programs run weekdays from 9am to 3pm and are designed to support NDIS participants in building capacity, skills, confidence and connections in a fun and inclusive environment.
We are more than just another provider. We are a team with heart, offering innovative programs that meet people where they are. Our sessions are structured, supportive and led by qualified staff who understand the importance of both social engagement and personal development.

Samantha is a Level 2 Support Coordinator at Mildura Disability Support, bringing a strong background in nursing and years of hands-on experience supporting complex participants.
Known for her responsiveness and calm, attentive nature, Sam is a passionate advocate who truly listens and works closely with individuals and families to help them navigate the NDIS with confidence.
Her background as a qualified nurse gives her a deep understanding of health and disability systems, while her frontline experience as a disability support worker means she understands the real-world challenges participants face every day.
Sam provides expert guidance and tailored solutions that are goal-focused and practical.
She currently has capacity to take on new participants and is especially skilled in working with individuals who have complex needs.
Mildura Disability Support offers services such as personal care & support, laundry, & meal preparation for NDIS clients. Showering, dressing, shaving, nail clipping, brushing teeth & any personal care requirements can be done by our disability support workers.
We focus on empowering our client's instead of enabling.
We encourage independence at all times but are there to gently support & guide when needed.
We also are respectful, believe deeply in human dignity and respect.
Our support workers performing personal care have all been trained to the highest standards.
Mildura Disability Support offers client's overnight respite & short-term accommodation at one of our two centres in Mildura and Buronga.
NDIS clients from Wentworth, Ouyen, Red Cliffs, Mildura, Robinvale & surrounding areas are given short term accommodation and overnight respite at one of our centres.
We can do 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 overnight support depending on requirements and capacity.
We provide the most inviting and caring overnight experience for clients with disability support workers specialising in complex behaviours.
This is particularly good for caregivers who cannot sleep soundly because of their loved one's overnight needs.
Food, travel & the utmost care is included. We consider it a privilege to be entrusted to look after people living with a disability and understand the trust it requires.
Our After School Kids Club in Mildura is a welcoming and inclusive program for children with disabilities who need a safe and supportive space after the school day ends.
Designed for primary and secondary students, the program offers a calm and engaging environment where kids can relax, make friends and enjoy activities that suit their interests and needs.
We offer flexible support options including 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 ratios to ensure each child receives the right level of care. Whether it's art, games, sensory play or quiet time, every activity is delivered by experienced disability support workers who understand how to support children with a variety of needs.
The After School Kids Club runs weekdays during school terms and gives families peace of mind knowing their child is in a supportive setting that encourages connection, confidence and fun. Pick up and drop off available for Mildura, Wentworth, Red Cliffs and Buronga.
Mildura Disability Support offers community access and social support services. This includes facilitating social and recreational activities for individuals with disabilities, helping them connect with their community, and promoting independence and self-advocacy. We are focused on helping our clients achieve their goals and increasing their independence in the community. Our disability support workers do this in a supportive and respectful way.
So, whether you or your loved one wants to go fishing, bowling, clothes shopping, to the library or anywhere else that is accessible to them, we have a support worker who can help.

At Mildura Disability Support, we offer NDIS-funded school holiday capacity building programs designed to help young people increase their independence, develop life skills and build capacity and confidence in community settings.
These programs provide meaningful learning experiences in a supportive and engaging environment. Activities may include cooking, communication, budgeting, social skills, or accessing public spaces, all tailored to meet the goals and abilities of each participant.
Sessions are delivered in groups with a maximum of three participants to 1 disability support worker, ensure focused support and positive peer interaction. One-on-one support is also available if needed.
Our aim is to give participants a fun, structured and inclusive holiday experience while helping them build skills that support their growth and everyday life.
Mildura Disability Support offers respite care services for caregivers. This includes providing temporary in-home disability support workers to support caregivers who need a break or offering respite care at home.
Funded by NDIS plans, this is the ideal way to recharge yourself when you are the primary carer of a person living with a disability.
This service is beneficial for caregivers of people living with severe disabilities or chronic medical conditions who require a lot of attention and support.

Mildura Allied Health is a subsidiary of Mildura Disability Support Services, offering specialised occupational therapy services to support NDIS participants across the region. Our team, led by experienced Occupational Therapist Emma McKenzie, provides high-quality assessments & capacity building support to help individuals live more independently and achieve their NDIS goals.
Emma is highly skilled in delivering Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), Home and Living Assessments and tailored capacity building workshops.
She also works closely with Allied Health Assistants to ensure consistent and effective care. Her calm, person-centred approach helps participants navigate complex systems while building confidence and practical skills for daily life.
